DAY BY DAY

Day 2

 Cape Town

Upon arrival into Cape Town, a private driver will meet you and transfer you on to your accommodation. The rest of your day is free to spend as you wish, relaxing after you flights or heading out to explore.

Day 3

 Cape Town

Your day starts with a morning climb up Table Mountain for some spectacular views over the city. In the afternoon explore more of Cape Town on a private tour learning about the region's history.

Day 4

 Cape Town

Today you will enjoy a private tour around the Cape Peninsula taking in highlights such as Camps Bay, the Cape of Good Hope, the penguins at Boulders Beach and the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens.

Day 5

 Cape Town ,  Swellendam

Your hire car will be delivered to your hotel this morning ready for your drive to Swellendam at the foot of the Overberg mountains. Spend the rest of the day relaxing in this charming town and enjoying the lovely restaurants and cafés.

Today your drive will take you through a breathtaking mountain pass to the Karoo and along Route 62, said to be the most scenic route in South Africa, to Oudtshoorn.

Day 7

 Oudtshoorn

Spend today exploring this incredible region visiting an ostrich farm and marvelling at the Cango Caves.

Today you will have a short drive down to the coast to Plettenberg Bay where you will spend the next three nights.

There is so much to do in Plettenberg Bay today. A great option is to visit the Tsitsikamma Forest which offers some superb walks amongst dense forest and pretty waterfalls. Alternatively you could take a trip out on the ocean to look for dolphins, seals and pontentially even whales.

Today you will take a cruise around the Featherbed Nature Reserve. This privately owned nature reserve covers much of the western Knysna Head, and affords wonderful views of the lagoon and ocean. Keep your eyes out for Knysna loerie, blue crane, and the blue duiker, a tiny antelope found in the area.

Today you will drive to the Eastern Cape and the Addo Elephant Park were you can get up close and personal with Africa's big game on safari.

Spend today enjoying the various activities available at Elephant House, such as game drives in the Addo Elephant Park and canoeing on the Sundays River.

Today you could visit one of the nearby private game reserves for a morning or afternoon game drive. This is a great opportunity to see some of South Africa's Big Five.

Day 14

 

This morning you will have a short drive to Port Elizabeth airport to meet your onward flights.
